Our Story
About UsRosie On Fire is glamour and flirtatious sex appeal. Our favourite F word is flattering. In a world of the overt show and tell, we believe in the art of the tease. We create luxury kimonos and fashion that instantly, effortlessly, elevates a look. Our pieces are the equivalent of the perfect red lipstick. Throw it on. Forget about it. Look fire. We also believe in the holistic woman: femininity, brilliance and care for others. Rosie On Fire is beauty and substance, from our designs to our core values.
We have teams in London and Canada, and our operational hub is located in Kuala Lumpur. Central to our business model is hiring a number of artisans from marginalised communities in South East Asia to produce a range of our products, providing them with the opportunity to make meaningful income and showcase their work on a global scale. We also aim to have a 20% autistic workforce, placing autistic people in roles that suit their skills such as production and order fulfilment. The social conscience of Rosie On Fire, through empowering vulnerable and marginalised people by providing employment, is something core to us being a purpose-driven business. It was important for part of that impact to be made in Malaysia, reflecting the roots of our founder.
Through our Rosie Cares program, we have a separate CSR arm which is involved in direct charity work. We have partnered with Metro World Child, an organisation who helps children who come from areas of extreme poverty and are at high risk of neglect, abuse and sexual exploitation. To date we have 'adopted' two children, Cristianne in the Phillipeans and Dennis in Kenya and are in the process of sponsoring a third.
